CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The successful candidate will be leading the software development team of Ekkdam.com. 

Job Description / Responsibility

• Works with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules
• Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
• Conducts research to improve the technological assets of a company
• Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information
• Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions
• Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
• Uses technological assets to help ease of use for Ekkdam clients
• Consistently evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary
• Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of company
• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
• Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP
• Directs the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years’ software engineering and IT experience
• Experience with bleeding edge technologies
• Exceptional project management and organization skills
• Must have hands on experience on Big Data related technology and platform
• Groom excellent software team and have experience in Agile Methodology for software development
• Extensive experience with JavaScript/MVC frameworks
• Extensive experience with technical documentation and clean coding.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with marketing platforms, programs and policies
• Have mentality to cop up with startup culture

Educational Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Job Nature-Full-time

Job Location -Dhaka in Bangladesh

Salary Range -Negotiable
